"You can fly today", a seemingly ordinary post office always sends such a password every morning. Since Zhejiang Anji Post Branch launched the first drone postal route in China on September 19, 2016, "drone" has become a local "indigenous".

Old road's "new partner"

Anji, Zhejiang Province is located in the mountainous area of Northern Zhejiang Province. The local landform is mainly hills, 70% of which are mountainous areas. There are many points, wide areas and few people, which makes it difficult for the time limit and efficiency of local postal services. In order to solve the delivery problems in mountainous areas, as early as five years ago, Zhejiang postal branch combined with Antwork Technology to use drone delivery to get through the "last kilometer" of transportation in remote mountainous areas.

On September 19, 2016, the first drone postal parcel route of China Post was officially put into operation in Anji. By the end of August this year, 14 parcel routes had been opened, covering 3 townships and 8 administrative villages.

Once upon a time, the driving distance of each parcel road in Anji's remote mountainous area was 40 ~ 50 kilometers. The automobile postal road had to go back and face the problem of high cost and low efficiency. It often took more than an hour to get in and out of villages. Now, Antwork drone delivery can effectively improve the delivery efficiency and reduce the labor burden.

On January 3, 2018, at the foot of "cliff village" in atulier village, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, an drone equipped with Party newspapers and periodicals flew to "cliff village", marking the official opening of the mail route of "cliff village" parcel drone. From the take-off point to the receiving point on the mountain, the altitude difference is nearly 1000 meters. It takes ordinary people two or three hours to climb the "cliff village" through the steel ladder, while the drone takes only 9 minutes. The Antwork TR7S put into use in "cliff village" can carry 5kg. In addition to transporting newspapers, it also facilitates the villagers on the mountain to export agricultural products.

The practice shows that the drone parcel route not only greatly improves the distribution efficiency and reduces the distribution cost, but also improves the universal service capacity of mountain postal service to meet the public's demand for delivery service. Its concept and practical effect have been highly praised.

In addition to Anji and Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan, "drone parcel route" application has also been successfully copied to villages and towns in Guizhou and Shaanxi.

Improve service and achieve mission

From Jetgo to TR7S, in addition to the change of models, the load and endurance required by the drone parcel route are also increasing. From the original party journal and newspaper to postal parcels and agricultural and sideline products, Antwork is closely following the market demand to meet the user experience.

At present, the Antwork multi rotor delivery drone TR7S, which is mainly used in the drone postal route, is a carbon fiber shell, with a cargo box load of 5kg and a range of 22km. The automatic driving of drone can be realized through the cloud monitoring and dispatching system, so that the operation of the whole drone postal route is basically unmanned. On the one hand, it can not only reduce the labor cost, but also reduce the judgment errors caused by human operation.

In the past five years, 2503 mail delivery flights have been completed, and the total mileage of drones has been nearly 18000 kilometers. The improvement of postal parcel delivery speed and the strengthening of postal delivery service capacity are the new achievements of continuous reform and innovation of China Post. In the future, we will continue to improve our strength, make intelligent applications, improve social service levels, and use the power of science and technology to change our lives.
