On a Thursday with light rain, students on campus strolled in twos and threes with umbrellas on their way back to bed after class. At some point, voices came from far and near overhead, and everyone looked up curiously. It turned out that a drone was slowly landing at a takeout station. The drone landed steadily at the station and stored the internal cargo box in the storage and retrieval cabinet. As the hatch opened, the cargo box opened, and the steaming KFC emerged from the cargo box The middle was taken out, and the fragrance attracted passing classmates to stop.
This may seem like a scene of future university life, but it is truly present on the Moganshan campus of Zhejiang University of Technology. This is a future community project jointly developed by Antwork Technology and Deqing. In the project, drone takeoff and landing points are set up at Deqing Zhengxiang Square, Zhejiang University of Technology Moganshan Campus, Dixin Talent Town, and Anli in Lancheng County, providing richer and faster catering services for students, entrepreneurs, and tourists through drone real-time delivery. As one of the characteristic application scenarios of Deqing's future community, the first phase of the project aims to preliminarily establish a low altitude transportation network covering Deqing County and western mountainous areas, and create a typical application demonstration case of low altitude economy.
Since the first month of trial operation, the drone catering delivery service has attracted a large number of user experiences, with the Moganshan site of Zhejiang University of Technology alone serving over 500 people.
As a smart city application created by Antwork in collaboration with local governments, Antwork low altitude city operation service network has been operating in Zhejiang, Sichuan, Jiangsu, and other places. Set up an unmanned station at a specific location, where users place orders in a mini program and display the delivery status in real-time. After the plane arrives, users can quickly pick up meals at the nearby unmanned station using their mobile phone QR code. The above series of processes have formed a fast and convenient catering service chain, providing accessible drone real-time delivery services for the surrounding people through daily normalization operation.
Due to the need for the construction of smart facilities in the region, the introduction of rapid Antwork drone delivery systems in densely populated and relatively closed areas such as campuses, talent residential areas, vacation areas, and scenic spots can not only provide convenient dining for users, but also alleviate the resource shortage caused by the lack of supporting service facilities. At the same time, air transportation capacity can also become an important reserve capacity for emergency response in the region. In special circumstances, drones can quickly change their functions and assume the transportation role of emergency materials.
As a leading enterprise in urban drone logistics and distribution, Antwork has always been committed to exploring and applying urban delivery scenarios. Currently, Antwork delivery drones have accumulated operating mileage of over 200000 kilometers, with a total number of flights exceeding 50000. Relying on the rich experience of urban flight, with the core goal of bringing a better life to people, the uamOS system independently developed by Antwork is utilized to achieve real-time tracking and fully automated operation of unmanned aerial vehicles. Relevant solutions can be customized and developed for numerous scenarios. Antwork believes that through the power of technology, future life will definitely be better.
