On September 27th, the 13th China E-commerce Logistics Conference and the 2022 China Same City Instant Delivery Industry Summit were held in Ningbo. The theme of the summit was "New Ecology, Digitalization, and Starting Again", focusing on discussions on labor insurance and protection in the delivery industry, instant delivery capacity service ecology, and green supply chain innovation. Many leading companies in the ready to use industry, such as Meituan, Hummingbird, Dada, and Hema, shared their own development and challenges in recent years. As the only drone logistics enterprise attending the conference, Antwork shared with the industry the latest progress it has made in the large-scale application of urban drone delivery.

In the speech, Zhao Liang, COO of Antwork, presented the company's current achievements in drone operation. Since being awarded the industry's first urban drone delivery operation license at the end of 2019, Antwork's commercial drone delivery service scale has continued to grow. At present, the daily average flight volume of the Antwork drone has exceeded 2000 kilometers, which is tens of times higher than before the outbreak of the epidemic.

The expansion of operation scale is due to the gradual enrichment and expansion of business scenarios. In the past two years, Antwork has continued to deepen its logistics application in medical scenarios, and the transportation volume and number of routes for blood, samples, drugs, and nucleic acids have continued to increase. The large-scale application of drones has reduced management pressure, reduced transportation costs, and significantly improved efficiency for normalized epidemic prevention and control work in various regions. As of now, logistics drones from various regions of Antwork have completed the transportation of over 20 million nucleic acid samples. On the other hand, on-demand services based on people's livelihood consumption are also a key focus of Antwork City's air delivery expansion. Through cooperation with local governments, Antwork has launched multiple demonstration projects in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Sichuan and other regions this year. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on-demand services have covered various scenarios such as campuses, scenic spots, residential areas, and resorts. The cutting-edge technology has penetrated into daily life and received a large number of positive feedback from users, especially in the context of epidemic lockdown and campus delivery. For college students, it has increased the choice of catering services and improved efficiency; For merchants, it expands the scope of commercial radiation; For schools, as a new infrastructure, it enhances student satisfaction and realizes the social value of technology implementation, benefiting multiple parties.

Antwork believes that the COVID-19 is a major historical catalyst for the ready to use industry. For the development of the ready to use industry, providing quality services and cultivating users' consumption habits will have a profound impact. With the current expansion of the ready to use industry, the pain points of increasing labor costs, high recruitment difficulty, and large personnel turnover are also gradually reflected. In the expectation of long-term continuous decline in labor supply, the industry needs logistics drones to play a role and open up new dimensions and patterns for instant logistics. Zhao Liang pointed out, "For a long time to come, robots will assist rather than replace riders to undertake future massive orders and more efficient service requirements."
