Recently, the signing and licensing ceremony of the Intelligent Air Traffic Joint Laboratory jointly built by Antwork Technology and the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China was officially held. Zhang Lei, founder and CEO of Antwork Technology, and other relevant officials, as well as Tang Qingru, Vice Dean of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China and other college leaders, attended the ceremony. Pan Weijun, Dean of the Air Traffic Control College, presided over the ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, Pan Weijun, the Dean of the School of Air Traffic Management, and Yang Yun, the Director of Antwork Operations, signed the "Intelligent Air Traffic Joint Laboratory Cooperation Construction Agreement", and Tang Qingru awarded the license to the joint laboratory.
During the ceremony speech, Tang Qingru introduced the development history and educational characteristics of China Civil Aviation Flight Academy, and analyzed the importance of intelligent air traffic control for future low altitude operation of unmanned aerial vehicles. He expressed the hope that the college and Antwork Technology can leverage their respective technological resource advantages, based on the actual needs of the industry, coordinate key links such as platform construction, scientific research and innovation, talent cultivation, and application implementation, and make achievements in industry education integration and school enterprise cooperation, promoting cooperation and win-win between university talent cultivation and enterprise development.

Zhang Lei stated that Antwork has been committed to building an urban air distribution network and obtained the first urban environment drone delivery pilot operation license issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in 2019. It has built an urban automated air cargo service system with delivery drones, unmanned takeoff and landing stations, and cloud based UTM scheduling systems. We look forward to accelerating the innovation of scientific research achievements in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) air traffic control intelligence and flight autonomy through cooperation with China Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Together, we will explore the key technologies required for urban air traffic and promote the progress of the drone delivery industry.

The establishment of the Intelligent Air Traffic Joint Laboratory is an important milestone for Antwork Technology in exploring key technologies, and it is also a measure taken by China Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics to deeply implement the integration of industry, academia, research and application based on the forefront needs of industry development. The joint laboratory will promote the development of intelligent air transportation based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, complementary advantages, resource sharing, and common development, laying a solid technical foundation for the development of the drone delivery industry.
