Recently, the signing and licensing ceremony of the Intelligent Air Traffic Joint Laboratory jointly built by Antwork Technology and the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China was officially held. Zhang Lei, founder and CEO of Antwork Technology, and other relevant officials, as well as Tang Qingru, Vice Dean of the Civil Aviation Flight Academy of China and other college leaders, attended the ceremony. Pan Weijun, Dean of the Air Traffic Control College, presided over the ceremony.
Zhang Lei stated that Antwork has been committed to building an urban air distribution network and obtained the first urban environment drone delivery pilot operation license issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China in 2019. It has built an urban automated air cargo service system with delivery drones, unmanned takeoff and landing stations, and cloud based UTM scheduling systems. We look forward to accelerating the innovation of scientific research achievements in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) air traffic control intelligence and flight autonomy through cooperation with China Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Together, we will explore the key technologies required for urban air traffic and promote the progress of the drone delivery industry.
The establishment of the Intelligent Air Traffic Joint Laboratory is an important milestone for Antwork Technology in exploring key technologies, and it is also a measure taken by China Academy of Aeronautics and Astronautics to deeply implement the integration of industry, academia, research and application based on the forefront needs of industry development. The joint laboratory will promote the development of intelligent air transportation based on the principles of equality, mutual benefit, complementary advantages, resource sharing, and common development, laying a solid technical foundation for the development of the drone delivery industry.
