On July 19th, Antwork officially cooperated with the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University to hold the launch ceremony of Nanjing's first medical drone delivery route, marking the official entry of Nanjing into the "era of unmanned aerial vehicle material delivery".
On site, Gu Min, Vice President of Nanjing Medical University and Dean of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Ji Guozhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, and other hospital leaders attended the event. At the ceremony, Ji Guozhong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, delivered a speech, pointing out that in the past, there were some management difficulties in the transportation of medical supplies from the perspectives of manpower, material resources, and environment. Drone medical delivery is currently the representative of medical modernization. With the support of high-tech such as 5G+, delivery drone can help hospitals achieve balanced allocation of testing capabilities, achieve homogenization of testing, and promote high-quality development. At the same time, it is hoped that in the future, hospitals can expand and apply this high-tech to scenarios such as emergency blood use and pathological sample.

Zhang Xinji, General Manager of Hangzhou Songba Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Antwork Technology, subsequently gave a project introduction. The maximum load capacity of the RA3 put into use in this project is 4.5kg, and the cargo box can hold hundreds of inspection samples, which can operate normally in moderate rain and snow weather. The project mainly runs from the Maigaoqiao Campus of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University to the Jiangjiayuan Campus, with a total length of 10.2km and a total operation time of only 13 minutes.

The drone route of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University is the first route applied in the medical industry in Nanjing. Medical drones delivery have the ability to operate, drive, and dispatch automatically, without the need for additional manpower, and can meet the real-time response needs for 7 * 24 hours of operation in special scenarios within the hospital. It is an optimal option for improving the urban medical security system and public health emergency response capabilities.
