"Drone! Mom, look!" With the joyful voices of the children, a drone arrived and hovered in the air, slowly lowering the cargo box containing KFC and milk tea to the ground. This is the Antwork TD9 drone, and it is also the first time that the landing form has been opened to the public for experience in Hefei.

On September 26, 2023, the 14th China (Hefei) International Landscape Expo opened at Luogang Park in Hefei. As the world's largest urban park, Luogang Park has gradually entered the peak tourist season since the National Day holiday and has become a destination for many tourists. Among them, there are tourists who come from afar to admire garden art, as well as citizens who live nearby and choose Luogang Park as their destination city walk. However, as a city park that is four times larger than New York City Park, the contradiction in commercial facilities is very prominent.

The commercial resources of Luogang Park are concentrated in Yuanbo Town, but each park is relatively scattered. During meal time, tourists quickly gather in Yuanbo Town, and the long walking distance also makes it very inconvenient for tourists.

The TD9 descent drone put into operation this time is a special model designed by Antwork for closed scenic spots and urban delivery. After the drone arrives over the destination, it does not land at the airport and uses a parachute method to deliver items to the ground. After the goods are successfully delivered, the drone will return to the original route. The cable landing drone not only does not require a take-off and landing site, but also provides tourists with a firsthand interactive experience and ensures the safety of ground tourists.

The person in charge of the Antwork project stated that a large number of tourists come to watch the airdrop check-in point every weekend. Due to the airspace limitations of Luogang Park, only 10 daily experience spots are currently open. Currently, orders can be ordered in Changsha Garden, Chongqing Garden, Botanical Garden, Drunken Flower Creek, and Autumn Fruit Garden. We will also actively coordinate with merchants and management in the future, striving to bring efficient and interesting delivery experiences to more tourists. We also remind all tourists to maintain a distance from the drone rope cargo box and pay attention to safety when visiting the cable landing deployment.
